BCYA BOYS BASKETBALL

Winter basketball registration is closed.

Basketball is available for youth boys in grades 1-6.  BCYA basketball is recreational and appropriate at all age groups for both new and experienced players.  The focus of recreational basketball is to have fun, learn the game, and hopefully come back for more!

Registration
Winter registration will run from September 1-September 30, 2023.

Season Dates
Evaluations occur for all participants during the first few weeks of October. Teams are formed and practices tentatively begin the last week of October. Travel season concludes middle/end of February. Rec season ends middle of March.

Uniforms and Gear
Uniforms consisting of jerseys will be provided to all athletes.  See the applicable age groups below for more specifics on gear.

Coaches
All coaches are volunteers and we are grateful to have so many that give our athletes their time.  If you are interested in coaching, you can volunteer to do so when registering the athlete.  No experience is necessary as we can provide coaching materials if needed or desired.  All coaches are background checked.

Cancellations
All coaches will be notified of cancellations, both practice and game, through Team Reach.  Parents will be notified of game cancellations via email.  Coaches are responsible for communicating practice cancellations.

All teams participate in end of season league tournament.	28.5" ball
