BCYA SPRING SOFTBALL

Spring softball registration closed March 4th, 2023.

Softball is available for youth ages 6 through 12.  BCYA softball is recreational and appropriate at all age groups for both new and experienced players.  The focus of recreational softball is to have fun, learn the game, and hopefully come back for more!

Registration
Spring registration will run approximately in January and February 2023.

Season Dates
Most practices will start in mid-late April and games will start in early May, running through mid-late June.

Uniforms and Gear
Uniforms consisting of shirts will be provided to all athletes.  Socks and pants will not be provided.  See the applicable age groups below for more specifics on gear.

Coaches
All coaches are volunteers and we are grateful to have so many that give our athletes their time.  If you are interested in coaching, you can volunteer to do so when registering the athlete.  No experience is necessary as we can provide coaching materials if needed or desired.  All coaches are background checked.

Cancellations
All coaches will be notified of cancellations, both practice and game, through Team Reach.  Parents will be notified of game cancellations via email.  Coaches are responsible for communicating practice cancellations.

u10	4/1/13-3/31/15	Practices at coach discretion. 10U games on Monday and Wednesday nights (with some deviation)	size 11" ball; players will need: batting helmet with face mask, softball bat, softball glove, rip-it mask and cleats. Players will also have to provide their own softball pants (shorts for 8U) - color TBD.
